Report the car stolen, instead of selling, in Mongolia?

I need to get rid of the car somehow... is reporting it stolen an option? There will not be any problems at the costums, when im flying to Bejing in 2 weeks?

To much of a hassle to sell it... not worth the effort for my Volvo 440.

As far as I know in this case you also have to get the tax problem solved then.

Because you don't export it again.

Maybe you have a chance to get out of the country-
And when you enter Mongolia again you are n troubles.

And when they recognise that you just did it for this reason, you're fuxxed

This kind of thing leads to banning older vehicles entering a country.

Better to ask if you can give the vehicle away, possibly a car wrecker would take it for $0.

I was thinking the same.

Because of such people like him the authorities are putting pressure on travellers.
And then again in the time of the Mongol rally they ask for deposit when you want to enter, because travellers with bad attitude leave them there this way....

IMO its the type of stuff you don't talk about on the internet.
Sometimes people think "other" people are stupid but in real life, it's them who are the stupid one?
Let it go Mr Pablo.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
