But the recovery in Vancouver will cost $700 Canadian according to Yuri's recommended agent in Vancouver - Astra Intl Moving and Shipping - that takes a lot of the good out of it. And there is talk too of the agricultural check - that was real drama that you experienced!
Just in relation to the ferry I think the Dong Chun runs from Zarubino to Sokcho so is the Donghae Ferry another operator? Where did it sail from? $800 seems expensive and all adds a lot of $$ to the Air Freight option.

Hmmm, will be curious see what you get for a cost estimate for an Air Canada shipment. Air Canada does ship motos around the world so if the reduced rates of the "Fly Your Bike" scheme are available out of Korea for 2017, fantastic! You probably saw this:

I'm pretty sure Dong Chun ferry shut down a few years ago. Yuri will know. Donghae ferry sails right from the main port in downtown Vlad operated by an outfit called DBS Ferry.
Yuri handles all the ferry stuff very well. The day before the ferry sailed, he picked up me and some other riders from our hotels and led us through getting bikes on the boat and our personal ticketing confirmations.
