Kyrgystan - over China (Kashgar) to Pakistan - 2 days September 2016
Hi!
we are a family with 2 sons and we want to drive from Europe to India.
We want to leave Kyrgystan early Septmber to enter China to get to Pakistan over Karakorum Highway, in order to reach Lahore-Armitsar Indian border.
We would like to share with fellow travellers the cost of crossing China.
Who else is interested in such a common journey?
Cheers,
Michal from Poland

Hi all, we're hoping to go through China from Mongolia to Laos as well (Wanderlust, I've just replied to another thread you're on as well It's just my partner and I and we'll be in some sort of vehicle (TBD).
Our contact at Navo (Bing) told us some other travellers were wanting to do this route right after the October holidays, I wonder if this is you! Small world.
We are hoping to go a little later though, probably starting at end of October if possible. Bing suggests we be finished with the China portion before end of November to avoid too cold of weather. Would yall be interested in doing this route a little later?
Feel free to message me or email me - feliceelena at gmail dot com.
Happy travels!

It's not that cold in Southern China in November or December .China's a big country.Actually it's not that cold in Northern China(Xinjiang) in November 10c-0c depends what time of the month. Probably start to get the first snowfall late in Nov(maybe)Up in the mountains a different matter.

Hi machy
My boyfriend and I are planning to cross Kyrgystan-China-Pakistan via Karakoram in late Oct or early Nov 2016. I don't know if you'd be interested in teaming up to share the costs? We are already in touch with a tour operator through China (4 days) but have not made any fixed agreements yet. We are by Volkswagen van.
Best regards, Mia

Hi,
Have you received any news?
I'm also interested but for 2017.
If somebody can give me some details about this kind of trip (prices,conditions,permits,problems,...), it will be very useful for me (I'm a newbie about china, but in 2015 I've travelled across Iran,Central Asia,Russia with my Land Rover).
Thanks in advance.
RR.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
