Thanks Vette and others, yes this is about what I had been thinking would be typical - maybe even a little slower in some places like through mountains. I had been figuring on averaging about 150 km/day, every day, when you take into account things like local exploration, breaks, delays, and such. So you might do 200km a day for three days and nothing the next. I'm glad that this doesn't seem unreasonable.
The other thing I'm doing is having multiple routes planned so that I can change the plans on the fly - eg. if I feel like sticking around a particular area for a few days, or hurrying through. I'm getting close to finalising it and will post it when done.
