a GPS way point
Hi, this is an old chat but in case you are still collecting way points.
Here would be a new one at my shop.

Yes its close to MuzToo. I added the point to Open Stret map but is still not released online. I wonder how fast they do their releases... maybe I have to try it again. But the coordinates are at my web page in case.

Very regularly/frequently.
I use quite a few OSM maps and download updates more or less every week: I could update them even more frequently if I wished but that will do for me.
OSM update maps are on demand in my experience of loading them to my mobile phone.
i.e. each time I look at the download manager in the app there are a few more available.

Thanks! I was able to convert it online into a GPX file using gpsvisualizer.com, and then loaded into OSMand on my phone (and will do it on our tablet as well)
The more info the better

Last time I was in TJK, the Anzob and Shariston pass were impassable (rock falls blocking the road). I guess since the tunnels opened they don't clear them and the fell in disuse. Maybe worth mentioning in the WP.

Hi:
You could tell me with what software/program you have created the .GDB file.
I have opened it in google maps but it tells me that it does not support so many layers.
Thanks

GDB = Garmin Mapsource.
It would be possible to view the file in Google via MyMaps. You'd need to first save it as a GPX, then import to MyMaps.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
