Alex, thanks for your post and for organizing the event, but I suggest putting some information in your post and the linked page about WHERE the event is--which cities is it near, etc? I know Russia pretty well had to google to remember that it is by Seliger...but why make them work that hard?

Sorry for late reply, but you are right.
Event will take place right near Moscow and Saint-Petersburg in the Valday National Park. From Moscow its 400 km, from Saint-Petersburg 300 km.
Well, actually if riding nice secondary roads avoiding highways it will be 500-550 from Moscow and 450 from Saint-Petersburg, but still it an easy access place. Here is google maps point - https://goo.gl/maps/2G1h2Y9sDUT2
The best way to reach visit event is either by going from Helsinki or Tallin to Saint-Petersburg and then to Moscow direction. Either from Riga to Moscow and then north to Saint-Petersburg direction.
If there are any questions don't hesitate to ask..))

There's also a live google map on the page in the right column (linked from the page's menu "Where is it?") that gives you all of the details on where it is. We try to make it easy but there is so MUCH information to impart on a page about the event that it's easy for stuff to get missed!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
