Camper rental California

Heyhey,
i am new here but i got the tip from another traveler. Me and my girlfriend are looking for an affordable campervan for the time around 11. to 27. April this year near L.A. California. After that we want to travel up the westcoast looking for options too. We were traveling through southamerica for 8 months with our car and we wanted to ship it to the states. Our Agent messed up things to a point were it was no longer sustainable for us to follow our Plans. So we let the car go back to Germany, we are Germans btw , and now we are looking for nice ways to travel the states. Comercial Campervan or motorhome rentals are very expensive so now we travel with tent and rental car. We are using this site to maybe get some options.

Thank you for reading and maybe replying

Hey Scrabblebiker,
thanks for the reply. We already checked this one. Its still pretty expensive with a minimum of 56 USD without any good insurance. We were more hoping for a private solution. We have seen so many camping cars standing around in backyards, maybe somebody is able to rent his for a reasonable price . But thanks again!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
