Wasn't thinking about jabs - unless they're free of course! I'll probably take a decent repellant though.

Thanks again for the route you pm'd me - ahanoute, Asni, Ijoukak to the Tiz-n-Test pass. Still not sure how my little adventure is going to pan out. All I've decided so far is I'm going to get accommodation for the first night in Marrakesh (hostel maybe) as I want to have a good look around.

Or not

MASTA say a out Morocco, " There is a high threat from terrorism in Morocco. Attacks could be indiscriminate......" Well it seems we should pretty well ignore what MASTA say then! I'm having jabs because I'll go to remote regions and be in contact with bedouins' animals and sleep rough in the wild. Not your typical Linzi.visit.

Dont miss the High Atlas some great little villages up there with some real friendly folk. We were out that way last March mixed temps from desert via mountains to the coast. It gets pretty windy on the coast.

High

Hi Stuart. I have run out of money to do my planned trip which definitely included the Atlas. I am now going to two particular schools to get them the books etc that I got for them. Then I must save the pennies to return. But isn't it incredible how out of touch some people can be who write guidance notes! I must say my main worry is how the bus drivers drive through the mountain passes. Gulp! Linzi.

I am in Essouira at the mo, and the weather is pretty bad. The winds are strong even by Essouira standards, and it has been raining today. It took me almost 7 hours to do the 100ish k from Isafi. Even on a proper bike it would be pretty hard going. Nice and warm though!

Back yet?

Howdy, are you back yet? When you get back do give a little note on what it was like. Was it done to budget? Linzi.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
