Morocco-bound in Oct - see you there?

Hi

I am finally going to Morocco - hurrah!

Just thought I'd post this note to see if others are doing the same. I'll be catching the ferry to Cueta on Tues 5th Oct, working my way down to Marrakesh (via Erg Chebbi) over a couple of weeks, then probably to the coast before catching return ferry to Spain on Sat/Sun 23/24 Oct.

I'll be on a blue 3AJ Tenere with dodgy homemade racks and panniers - possibly sporting a plastic decoy duck on the top-box.

I don't want to make any firm plans, but if you're going to be in the area post a reply and we can keep an eye out for each other.

Bon voyage

Hi Barry
I'm going to be in Morocco from mid-Oct, on a blue /silver Dominator with a red Acerbis tank. I'll keep one eye open for the duck...

I'll be around there in my blue LR 110 CSW with kids hanging off the roof (my kids, not the locals!).

Hi to all,

Am thinking of heading down to morocco on short notice...what is necessary (visa's, canet de passage (i hope not), shots, whatever for a two week trip coming from N. Europe thru Spain?

Thanks very much!

(It seemed like everyone in this thread would probably have a good idea...then again they may all BE in Morocco and not able to respond...)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
