BORING - MOTORCYCLE ADVENTURISM - Duluth, July 28

Adventure motorcycling fun is slated for July 28, 2023.

WHY: Very Boring Rally # 5, celebrating 40 years

WHERE: Aerostich Designs World Adventure Headquarters, Duluth, MN

TIME: 2:00 PM

WHAT: A free seminar titled MOTORCYCLE SEX and ADVENTURE – Secrets, Tips and Tricks

This is a one-time presentation during the free rally day. Included in the content are entertaining, esoteric, researched, fact checked, colorful and provocative adventure motorcycling subjects that include:

What constitutes a modern day motorcycle adventure?

What is the best motorcycle for urban or around the world motorcycle adventures?

Adventure motorcycling: going solo or tandem, big money or on the cheap?

The true first, youngest and fastest 'round the world motorcyclist?

Big versus little motorcycle for adventure?

Real versus fake and poser motorcycle adventure marketing?

Who was the first motorcycle adventure author/journalist to use the term or phrase “adventure motorcycling” (1960s)?

The seminar is based on the secrets behind the recently released digital publication which defined adventure motorcycling, ADVENTURE MOTORCYCLIST: FRAZIER SHRUGGED -
https://www.amazon.com/ADVENTURE-MOTORCYCLIST-Dr-Gregory-Frazier-ebook/dp/B0B1GZHJVF

As Jack Robinson, founder of the Four Stroke Singles National Owners Club said of the book’s look at adventure motorcycling and adventure motorcyclists, it’s serious “moto-meat.

The author says of motorcycle adventurism and his look at the niche and history after six motorcycle rides around the globe and over 1,000,000 miles motorcycles riding, racing, crashing and repairing them: “Any motorcycle can be used for an adventure, and like a United States Supreme Court Justice said of pornography, I believe I know a motorcycle adventure and an adventure motorcyclist when I see or meet one.

Adding to the definition is "Mr. Subjective" from the Aerostich Designs Company, “If one has no regrets, but also would not want to do it a second time, one probably experienced an adventure.”

Compounding the non-XXX rated fun during the afternoon will be the Official Announcement for the release of the 2023 REVISED EDITION of the 1994 best selling publication, MOTORCYCLE SEX or FREUD WOULD NEVER UNDERSTAND THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ME AND MY MOTORCYCLE.

Having Non-XXXX rated travel fun

Yes, "exposed" will be non-XXXX rated fun: Sourced from a News Release dated July 23, I see we're having some literary adventuring.

So do tell us, who was the originator of the term adventure motorcycling? You mention the ‘60’s but I can’t remember anyone using it back then, we just went touring. ‘Adventure biking’ didn’t become a thing in my life until decades later.

From The "Good Books," some answers therein

In reply to the most eloquent use of the English language, “So do tell us…” I will existentially, eclectically and ecclesiastically use a biblical quote to the one poster's query, their not having attended the referenced Very Boring Rally 5.

Quote: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

The content of the rally and seminar of July 28 is/was proprietary to the sponsoring company, www.aerostich.com. They have released a portion of my lecture in a video referenced in the HU link below:

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
