Dentist recommendation ?

We are currently in Essaouira, heading north (but could go east via Marrakech) - does anyone have a recommendation for a good Dentist?

Thanks
Frank

Not used a dentist in Essaouira but I have used the hospital to get some stitches after an accident.

They were very very efficient, not quite a western standard medical facility but otherwise couldn't complain. Might be worth popping and asking about a dentist.

Healthcare in Morocco

A bit of reassurance.. I needed a dentist urgently a couple of years ago following the development of an abscess. Found one in Erfoud who was very good. Surgery old but spotless. Needles etc, were brand new and in sterile packaging. Procedure was explained all the way through and oral antibiotics provided for follow-up. Discussed his treatment on return home with my own dentist who said it was spot-on.

One of our friends had a heart attack a couple of years ago and was treated at the hospital in Ouarzazate. His insurance company flew out a doctor and nurse from the UK. They discussed his care with the medical team and were happy to let him remain there to recover while they flew back to the UK.

Happy trails,

Peter

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
