Keep in mind that rules changed and the visa is not free anymore at that border. You must pay the full amount of 50 JD, if I remember well. If you spend more that 3 days or something in Jordan and you exit from the same border, you'll get the visa fee back. Anyway, the Jordan Pass is a good deal but you need to arrange it online beforehand;-)

did you enter fro Israel to Jordan? or perhaps did you go from Egypt to Israel and then onto Jordan?
If the latter, was it on 2 wheels? if so - this is some awesome news

i am planing a trip in about 8months from southern africa to northern europe... would love to go to israel and jordan before going to europe ... on two wheels obviously
