Local Iranian Riders. Let's Ride. Will be in Iran for a Month.

Hi,

I'll be in Iran for a month on contract work and I'm looking for a motorbike to buy/rent/borrow and some locals to explore the mountains and deserts with. I'd love to ride something offroad capable. I ride an XR250. See this link for a ride report of the type of riding I enjoy. Links in the signature line lead to other ride reports.
OK, so we're riding Colombia 2 up on a China Bike. - ADVrider

Thanks!
Trent.

Hey, there...

I am going to move to Tehran in a few weeks time.
I am not sure if you can find any answer from Iran society if there is one.
Better to go there and try to search the places yourself. Sure you will find someone helpful on the road there. A lot of good people there on their small M/Cs.
Pitty I can't import my bike over there... and it is not good idea to ride a bike in crazy traffic jam of Tehran

You better yourself...

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
