You've been living in Belgium for five years, haven't made contact with any locals and your attempts at trying to raise charity money have been met with distain.
I'm not that surprised really. I don't like to sound like a curmudgeonly old git, but you've effectively done the same thing here, by your one and only post on this forum being an appeal for us to make a difference to your ideals.
