Exclamation Motorcycle stolen while traveling

Hello, this is Jung-moon You from South Korea (Republic of Korea).

i arrived in London by motocycle on October 20ty, and my motorcycle was stolen on October 27th

that motorcycle is all for me... so.. I need help. Im still stay in London

# My motobike is 2016 Yamaha mt-07 Red / Tuned Arcapovic #

I have been doing world trip with a motorbike since 06. 18. 2017. after I quit my job which I had worked for last 5 years.

My trip had been started from Vladivostok(Russia), and I visited more than 10 nations such as Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, and others. And, I had arrived London on 20. 10, 2017.

But, an unbelievable incident had been happened 7 days after I arrived here. My motorbike was disappeared, and police officer was sure that it was stolen. For last 2 months, I had been waiting for any updates from police officer, but there is no update and evident to get a criminal.

While I was in panic because of the incident, I met a nice british biker via one of the London biker Community. He gave me lots of information to resolve my problem especially bike and financial problems. And, he suggested some of resolutions base on his personal experience. As one of suggestions, he told me funding webpage, and posted my sad story on funding webpage (a.k.a justgiving) to support me.

I don't know if I can tell you this. but please be kind enough to understand.

I know you are busy, but I would love to know that you would post my story on your SNS, webpage and so on to share my story and the funding webpage. I apologize for bothering you with this long writing, and appriciates for your time and reading this story.

I'm still in london....
I will stay in London until April 10, 2018

Jung Moon

I saw this posted several times on the Hubb facebook group last night, however when I looked on your facebook profile, there were no images of the bike, no images of you biking, and no photo albums of your trip. Can you verify anything to suggest this trip happened?

I saw this story back in 2017 but with a different facebook account. It was featured by Bennetts insurance, and hows a pic of a Korean plated bike in London. Strange.

Its a very active facebook account, however I want to make sure the original biker's fundraiser is not being hacked, another possibility

Seems like the story/rider has been corroborated by a couple of people on the facebook group, so good luck to you Jung-Moon. London is a savage place for bike crime as you have unfortunately found out. Cops are powerless.

What have you been up to in London for the last couple of years and what are your future plans?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
