Lisbon to Guinea 2021

Project aims to support disadvantaged communities in Guinea-Bissau and consists of a trip from Lisbon to Bissau on a motorcycle, crossing southern Spain, Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal bound for Guinea, as well as the creation of a humanitarian caravan in 2022 The donations raised will be delivered to UNICEF in Bissau, so I hope to be able to take with me on this adventure face protection masks, bars of soap, disposable medical gowns, water purifying tablets, alcohol gel and everything else you can carry with me on a motorcycle. Approximately 9000 km will be made in an adventure that everyone can follow daily on social media as it develops.

The expedition takes place from February 13th to 27th, 2021. To get there with everything ready for this adventure, I need €2000 for the purchase of donations and all topics related to the preparation of the bike, borders and visas, according to the rules of the expedition until January 5, any amount received in excess of the requested amount will be used to add to offers for Guinean children.

Whoever wants to accompany me between contacts
Good curves

Welcome to the HUBB, Advturin. I'm going to venture that you're far more likely to attract responses if you give us some detailed plans and a way to contact you. At the moment, you're describing intent and a need for a lot of money, which might not inspire a lot of confidence in readers.

I'm also dubious about borders opening by February, but that's another story.

Hope that's helpful.

Mark

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
