It all depends on how much you want to spend. If money's no object I'd go for the full titanium system from KTM - the later versions of this are legal but you can remove the 'db-eater' from the end of the silencer.
I've tried the SXC from KTM - IMHO a slight increase in power without much of an increae in noise. My current setup is the titanium 'slip-on' silencer, with db-eater fitted (so it's not too loud), and an open airbox door with appropriate new jets. All three items came from Sommer who can advise you on what you need, as can Swampy at Marsh Performance (01752 844456).
I may return to the original airbox door and jetting if fuel consumption increases too much.
Apologies if you already know it, but be aware that changing your silencer may require a rejet and that a loud pipe might contribute to rider fatigue.
