Hi all,
We achieved around the 50/55 mpg which was a lot less than when we went around Ireland last year (around 65mpg), but still good. I think we can put this down to the fact that getting to and from the pyrenees it was quite spirited riding (for a KLE anyway) on the motorways, sitting at around 85 mph most of the time going (90 - 95 coming back!), where as in Ireland we seemed to be trundling along at 60 mph!!
As for the seat, to be honest for £3.99 I can't really complain! It did keep going down, but would keep the air in for about 50 miles and was pretty comfy when it was blown up, as I only do one big ride a year didn't really want to invest in an airhawk for one ride, all I can say it did the job!
