Easy fix if you follow the wiring diagram...
May I suggest a 35W HID conversion to reduce the overall current draw of two 55W globes on high beam though?
Two get both lights working on high beam, I did this:
1. buy a 12V 20A relay and some additional wire (matching colours for your existing loom if you like!) and an inline fuse.
2. splice into both the high and low beam supply wires near the existing globes.
3. Run a supply wire (fused close to the battery) to up behind the instrument cluster/headlight (This supplies the low beam when the relay is pulled in by the high beam circuit).
4. Wire the high beam active wire to the activating terminal on the relay.
5. Wire the switched supply from the relay to the low beam active wire.
6. Wire an earth wire to the relay.
The relay mounts nicely up behind the headlight assembly.
Take it out at night and enjoy the lighting brilliance...
Cheers
Ian
