Hi guys,

I did not realised, when I set the date, that our meeting is over the Queen Jubilee and the June bank holiday weekend! Doh!
Anyway, I hope you guys are still coming? If not, let me know and we can reschedule.

Thanks,

I will be there - however as it is a bank holiday we can expect rain and storms.

Looking forward to tomorrow.

As it is a small gathering please don’t turn up hours late. We will be there from 2 pm.
If you are running very late send me a quick message at
Maria ‘at’ franglais-riders ‘dot’ com. Or PM.
Weather should be dry

Cheers,

Hi Rachel, it was great to meet you! Thank you so much to come up to us. It is quite a ride for you. I was also surprised at how many people turned up. Especially considering the long bank holiday weekend.
Definitely doing this again soon before Amanda and Dermot ( ? sorry not sure of spelling ) start their trip.
As usual lots of very interesting people, and so much great information from everybody ( I definitely will try the ferry from Barcelona to Tangiers!).

Thanks all for coming xxx

Maria

Maria - many thanks for organising this - I thoroughly enjoyed it. All the best for the imminent trip.

It was the first time I have met anyone on the HUBB so it was the first time I have had to talk with people about riding abroad without the feeling “I can see it in their eyes, they think I’m losing the plot”. It was good to be able to put names to faces and to meet you all.

Thanks again.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
