Yay! So excited!

Count us in... we are both really looking forward to it! It'll be fab and so nice to see folk again and to meet new people too!! Love a good campfire!!!

Beej will be there on the Friday and Chris will definitely be there on the Saturday but will hopefully be able to come down on the Friday (shift's allowing!).

Danny - we can't wait to see the finished bunkhouse & campsite... you've done so much to the place! Chris really want's a CRF250L so that he can go on the trails but he knows if he gets one Beej will nick it!

Beej n Chris x.

Odd question - is there a decent phone signal?
I wouldn't normally be bothered but I'm on-call that weekend & am expected to answer the phone if issues are raised.
Yes definitely, I'm sat in the Bunkhouse at he moment and a 3 bars on O2 even inside the stone building...

I must add that the place is looking fantastic and now very close to completion. I have never stayed a a bunkhouse that comes close to this for quality and the views from the campsite are to die for

Booked

Rode up there today, the place looks great and Danny explained all about how much work he had put in. He was busy laying tarmac on the car park when I arrived. The roads are great once you get off the M6 and the scenery spectacular. Small village about 2 miles away, several convenience stores including a Coop and a Spar, banks, cash machines and two petrol stations. The bunk house has been done out really nice ( I have stayed in hotels that do not match this standard) as have the camping pitches. Me and Ted have opted to camp due to snoring which we reckon would have us (read me) banished from the bunkhouse within an hour or so.

Looking forward to the band and the bonfire on the Saturday night which Danny is laying on, may take in a road ride as well (I am too much of a wuss for that off road, wheels buried up to the axles in mud nonsense!). All in all looks great and a credit to Danny's hard work, can't wait!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
