Hi there I would love to meet up if thats ok? I would be riding up from Wirral with my GF on the back of me transalp and alongside Ted Magnum. The ride to keighly to turn back to get to the lakes is the wrong way around for me I would prefer to go straight there if you can give me or ted directions?
Sounds great i have my hip flask full!!

Bert, the grass will grow back, eventually. It's the green nutters who want to put these in the lakes you should be worried about.

But many people wild camp here and you will be pressed to find any litter left behind.
If I were passing through on my own then I would have made my fire at the edge of the stream.
This meeting is about getting away from it all... { Moaning included }
our fire will be on the site of one thats already been used.
when we leave you wont know we have been there .
Dazzer
PS
I will be pming everyone soon with the location. All we need hope for now is some good weather .

Now, these co-ordinates are rough co-ordinates. They should take you to the road its on but no guarantes as I've never been there and im not exactly certain where the site is.
I think the road its on is called ------- road. The maps arn't very detailed for this part of the country I'm afraid.
If you see an Africa Twin and a transalp flying about the place looking lost, give us a wave

Ted
The reason why I pm'ed everyone with the location map was not to make it public on the internet .
It's best to do these things without the whole world knowing that they will be a load of bike's parked up all night
Some of us will be meeting up at the McDonalds car park in Keighley ,
There is also a Filling station here with mini market if anyone needs to stock up with anything.
we are Looking at leaving here at 8.30 , We will then be riding the B roads up to Hawes and should arrive here at about 10.30 for a breakfast stop.
The Camp site is only half a hour's ride away so we should hope to arrive at about mid day.
Let's keep our fingers crossed for good weather.
ps
A friend as offered the use of Marquee which is set up at a camp site in Dent..if the weather is bad we could aways move to this location if need be.

Hey up Jake - hope you can make it, sorry to hear of the failure.. if you get stuck then borrow a car, and use one of mine... god sound dead rich! Might be selling the Bullet tomorrow, but still have the KTM & TTR, so can only ride one can't I?
