Has the HU 2016 rally been cancelled?

I have been looking for information about the rally and can't find anything besides the sign up page. I have not been to a HU rally before. But other forums usually have some info and chatter leading up to the event. How many riders are expected to be there; what presentations will there be; if I am riding a touring machine will I be able to get to the camp site? I probably couldn't get there until late Friday (1300 mile ride after a Thursday doctors appointment). What presentations are scheduled for Saturday?

Maybe I am looking for info in the wrong place. If so, help me. I'd hate to do an Iron Butt getting there, then find all presentations were done Friday, and the 20 people in attendance were packing up to leave as I arrive.

If you're talking the one in Aug in Nakusp, BC, camping is available. It is well attended (400 last year if memory serves). Food available onsite through the event organizer, or at grocery store a couple blocks away.

I hope it's not cancelled - I'm planning to be there!

I was interested in the rally at Grant, Colorado. It was last week end and I did attend. It was a small rally-about 50 people. But I enjoyed all the people there. Still looking for info about China though.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
