Yay, it's back! The 4th Canadian HUMM will be happening in the Monashees of British Columbia. Great new riding area, heaps more trails!

What's a HUMM? Horizons Unlimited Mountain Madness, a.k.a. 'the best thing you can do on a motorbike'!

A HUMM is kinda like an off-road motorcycle scavenger hunt. There is no set course, so you make your own adventure! Winning demands strategy, teamwork, riding and navigation skills and pure fun! 'The best 48 hours of my life!'

Registration is open now with early bird rates!

While you're enduring the winter and waiting for July, check out the HUMM Monashees 2018 video by Scott Chisholm, Andrew Thompson and Michael Klopp of DATS Dirt Chimps, the 1st Prize Winners in GPS Multis Class. Warning, this footage may be intimidating to some people - these guys are seriously good and did the gnarliest stuff.

The Monashees are a 400-km-long range in southern BC. Known to hikers and heli-skiers for some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, the Monashees are relatively unknown as an off-road riding destination. We aim to change that! 'couldn't believe how good the scenery was...' '...some of the best riding I've done, ever.'

We've reached out to the members of the Nakusp Chamber of Commerce and invited them to offer specials to HU attendees during HU Canwest (July 11-14), and HUMM Monashees (July 19-21), and for the week in-between IF you're in town for both events! We'll post details for each one over at the Canwest FB Event page and dedicated HUMM FB Group. No affiliation or official endorsement of these businesses. Just want to encourage y'all to explore Nakusp and area to make your stay more enjoyable.

You'll want a hearty breakfast before hitting the trails during HUMM Monashees. FYI: A couple of great breakie places in town are opening early enough on the weekend, July 20-21, to let your team ride off into the sunrise. They're just a couple of blocks from the Nakusp Arena.
