Mini meeting in the Algarve Portugal 2017

Hi all, was just wondering how many people would be interested in a little meeting in the Algarve around May time 2017? (summer time is to hot).
I live in the Algarve and love riding the endless tracks and trails on my XT600 or my XTZ750 Super Tenere enjoying the beautiful countryside of the true Algarve well off the tourist routes. I was thinking about meeting at a campsite somewhere for a weekend, go out trail riding, have a few s in the evenings etc etc.
I know John933 started organising something for this year but never came to anything, I know John and know he had a few health problems so this may be the reasons why.
I haven't spoken to any campsites yet, I was sat here thinking about a few people last year at the France meeting telling me it would be worth me organising something down this way. So I thought I would put a bit of a feeler out to see how much interest it would get.
Could be fun what do you think?
Other ideas are welcome.

If it comes off I'll see you there in May,

Sounds like a good idea James, if we get 5 mins to have a natter at the French meeting I might be able to give you some useful tips. The Algarve in May sounds very tempting. See you in few weeks.

Hi John, that would be great if you could give me some tips, over a few s of course. I take my hat off to you for organising what you do, I see it has its highly stressful moments and you handle it very well.
Im looking forward to the France meet, its going to be a corker this year. Cross our fingers for blue sky

James mate. If people want a roof over their head's and stay longer, make a holiday of it. Is there some place that could be rented on a share option? As you know I rent for a month at a time when I go down.

Im not sure what you mean by Faro 36? Of course I know what Faro is but please explain the 36 bit? The type of campsite I was thinking of would be set right out in the country, but im interested in your idea.

I see were your coming from John but to be honest im not trying to organise a holiday for people, just a weekend get together. If anyone wants to book further accommodation that's up to them with either the campsite we choose or if you have contacts for a Villa/Apartment put it up on here. We also have a 1 bed Apartment in Albufeira available for holiday letting.

Hey James, this yeah was "Faro 35 concentration de motos", so next year is Faro36
So as you planed a weekend gathering, I thought about Faro motorcycle meeting, it's only 45€ for the weekend, even you arrive at Thursday, you receive a bag of stuff, you get breakfast and lunch, dinner once from the organisers, you have some live music and other entertainment.
But you thought about may so Faro was this year in July, so maybe to late for your planning

Ahhh yes I know what your talking about, the Faro bike week. Ive never been to Faro for this, I must experience it one day.
Summer time is too hot for riding, this last month has been 30 degrees by 9am and considering I wear full gear and not shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops and Im an everyday commuter by bike I try to have my fun in the cooler months.
Spring is a fantastic time of the year to enjoy the countryside here, everything is still green, spring flowers are out and the smell of blossom is in the air. May is on the tail end of this and offers great riding on the trails and country lanes with temps of around 25 degrees.
