Welcome end of october!!! Bring pictures...
Hi Björn,
Mongolia sounds great - I am getting jealous...
It is right, there will be a fall meeting end of october, the dates are on the website 29.10.-01.11.2010
Even the Italy Meeting in July is organized by us... the Germans are everywhere...
Have a look, there are some pictures of the location - great farmhouse!

Too bad, we'll either still be in the UK or on our way back home that weekend, so we won't make it. We will however come to the October meeting. I can highly recommend it - the 2009 October meeting was awesome, great and almost familiar atmosphere.
Might do a talk again this year, we'll see.

Perfect, Jens! I think I will attend the fall meeting then. It´s a good thing to come home after 6 month and come to the meeting to get new ideas for the next trips
Even the Italy Meeting is organised by you? What about a Mongolia meeting then?
Björn

Slide shows and workshops wanted
Hey guys out there,
we are still looking for some more slide shows and workshops around the motorcycle... Can you tell a story? Do you have some nice pictures? Or did you do a nice motorcycle trip???
The only thing that you need is your pictures on a USB Stick, everything else we have on the spot.
Please send me a message to set up the schedule for our Summer Meeting.
Thanks a lot and Hello from Arica, Chile!

Hi there,
I'll sign up as soon as my holiday is approved.
I have a question though: is anyone coming who is able and willling to show me how to adjust the valves of a KTM LC4 engine? So far I have been neglecting this (or had somebody else do it for me), but it is one thing I really should be able to do myself...
Best

If you bring the appropriate tools at least measuring the clearances shouldn't be too hard. I think all of the KTMs have shims so you would need them as well, and you can only order them if you do know which ones you need, i.e. after measuring the clearances...
(somebody correct me if I'm mistaken here)

No shims as far as I know. I know more or less how to do it in theory, but I think it would be better to learn it from someone with KTM experience, LC4s can be a bit delicate. Also, it may be different from other engines, I don't know. KTM have managed to make the oil change fairly complicated with two filters, three points where the old oil comes out, two where the new oil goes in and a step of removing air from the frame, so the valve adjustment may be similarly intricate...
