If you go down the column on the left, down to events, there's the link.

Someone told me in the Azcari shop in Dorking that the 2012 event will be in a different country. Don't remember the country but seem to remember a different continent being mentioned.

Not very helpful but someone will know......

It only says Maroc, all the other details are from 2011 HUMM in Spain as far as I can see.

Meetings page says 17-21 Sep 2012 TBC...

Horizons Unlimited Motorcycle Travellers Meetings Schedule | Horizons Unlimited

Personally I'll be gutted if that ends up being the final dates, as one of our best friends is getting married on the 22nd in the UK. C'est la vie...might have to just wait till 2013.

Curses. Was hoping to do the HUMM this year but while I could afford a week off and the cash to go to the Pyrenees, Morocco is out of the budget.

Last night we were discussing our (possible) trip to the HUMM in Morocco. When we wanted to dubble check the dates in September, we noticed that the HUMM is no longer mentioned in the list of meetings in 2012. :confused1:

Has a decision been made not to organise the HUMM in Morocco?

+1

Probably head down the west coast a little afterwards as long as it's safe.

Have been searching for HUMM this year but can only find this thread, was wondering if anyone has received any replies confirming whether the HUMM is on in Morocco or not.

We have been planning to catch the ferry over from Plymouth to Santander on the 2nd Sept, travel down through the Pyrenees with a bit of off roading on the way, to catch the ferry over to Morocco. Then traveling down to Ouazazate (which I think thats where Grant said it was going to be based this year).
If the HUMM is on or not we are still going so if anyone would like meet up or travel with us for a bit, no worries.

No HUMM for 2012: Horizons Unlimited Mountain Madness - Off-road and on-road motorcycle orienteering!

I'll still be traveling down that way leaving Munich 07 September.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
