Smile HU Snowy Mountains Meeting Nov 18-20, 2016

We're very pleased to announce the first Horizons Unlimited Snowy Mountain Travellers Meeting, to be held Nov 18-20, 2016 in Jindabyne!

As you may know, we've been searching for a venue in the southeast to attract adventure travellers and would-be travellers from NSW and VIC (plus the ACT!) We spent a week checking out locations last year, and Jindabyne ticks all the boxes!

We've found a great venue at Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre. We're very excited about this location, it offers a range of accommodation options, great facilities and the potential for outdoor bike activities.
Our organising team hails from both sides of the line and even WA! Veteran travellers Brian Rix, Shirley Hardy-Rix, Pamela & Dave Hyde, Bryce Tobias, Tony Pollard, and Ove Gehrmann have stepped up to the challenge, and we're VERY grateful to them all!

Registration is open now with early bird rates until 30 April!

Booked.

I've registered and am looking forward to attending my first event.

@susan johnson can you confirm that the camping is $74/person/night or should it be for the event? That price is disproportionately more expensive than other events (having looked at a few to compare), and to other camp ground in the area??

Thanks,
Humphrey

Hi all,

Just to check if there is anyone going from Adelaide. Would be better to share the s/miles with soul-mate/s or could join on the road somewhere.

Cheers

Also very interested in the camping only option as I am actually travelling on the bike in Australia and my daily budget is less than this haha.
Also could do a trade off with a presentation of my trip so far maybe?

Registered and ready to go

I've just registered, I'm leaving Cairns the Saturday prior and should be in Canberra for a night before heading to Jindabyne on the Friday. Looking forward to my second HUBB meet, and the journey there and back.
Cheers.

See you there!

Can't wait to attend my first HU event! I'll be driving down from the Gold Coast (QLD) and have decided on the camping option! Unfortunately not riding my adventure vehicle...my little Honda motorcycle, as there's no way I'd make it that far just yet!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
