Fitting a race can and a K&N air filter makes a noticable difference to the Africa Twin. I've done this to both the AT's Ive had ('Laser Produro' on first bike, 'Remus' to second). I don't know what the exact figures are but I would guess at somewhere between 5 and 8 bhp or around 10%. There's no need to re-jet. The rest of the exhaust, other than the link pipe which has to be replaced when changing the end can anyway, is stainless.
