Toyota Mechanic in Sibiu Romania

Hi

Can anyone recommend a Toyota/4x4 mechanic in Sibiu Romania as need to get my brakes and disk checked out as caliper stuck on when I was coming down the Transalpina route and think my disk/pads knackered on my Toyota Landcruiser 100 series.

Many Thanks

Julio

I don't know of a place but I'm about 15 Km west of Sibiu right now. Is there anything I can pick up for you on my motorbike or is the Toyota still "driveable"?

Will be here for another couple of hours or so at least.

Back on the Road

Hi guys

Apologies for delay in getting back, only just picked up my emails. Thanks for the responses, luckily I was able to get in touch with Mihai from the Sibiu 4x4 club who kindly let me use their workshop to check over all the brakes etc to find out what was going on. Or should I say he checked them all out and did the work.

Good news was that there was no major damage and we bled all the brakes and found air in the front offside. Give it a test drive yesterday over the tranfagarasan pass and was all ok

The hospitality we have been shown in Romania is amazing, what a stunning place to travel.

Thanks

Julio

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
