Romania - Brasov - a place to stop!!

Hi
Just a reminder to anyone passing through this way ....

10km from Brasov on the road to Bran. - in Cristian.. I have an open door policy for sound bike travellers. A room with bathroom ... and secure parking, workshop space etc.

Ms Coates and many others of this parish will vouch! As long as I am not away...Our door is open! Travellers are always welcome... assholes are not ! No charge - but wine and rakia is cool!

Gavin

Thumbs up

Hi Gavin,

we will cross the area in about two/three weeks time (?), making the round of Rumania. If we are closer we can give you a hollar and pass by for some wine, raki and (in whatever combination

We start the trip on the 1st September in Vienna and from there we go direction Apuseni Mountains and thats it for the plan, the rest we do on the go...

We have three weeks time B4 we have to be in Vienna again to take the moto train home...

Cheers Kerstin and Sascha

Hi Gavin,

I was wondering if you're open to guests around the 14 Sep? I'm riding to the UK from Jordan and will be looking to stop the night near your location. I can bring booze!

Hi C-J,

Yes will be in Brasov around 14th. Village is Cristian about 10km out of Brasov on road to Bran. Will send you a message with my direct contacts.

And dont worry abut crossing the Balkans - safe and friendly. Not had any reports about problems at borders. Which way are you coming?

Gavin

Gavin,

Great stuff, thank you. I'm coming from the south and passing to the west of Brasov so that should work out really well. I look forward to meeting you.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
