Poder (Power of Attorney) in Europe for US registered moto
I will be buying a US registered moto that is already in Europe and wondering whether creating and notarizing a document with mine and the owners name, and all the relevant bike details like year, model, license plate, VIN, etc. would be enough to have me legally use the bike and potentially cross borders to places like Turkey, Morocco, and non-shengen countries in Europe. I have previously done a poder in South America that worked fine and even gave me permission to sell the bike when I was done with it to another person who could continue to operate it with a newly drafted poder, but not sure what the process is in Europe. The bike will be in Greece, and not sure if I need a lawyer to draft a power of attorney in English and have that notarized, or whether I can simply write the document myself and describe the permitted use and have me and the owner sign this in front of a notary, or if there is maybe some other procedure or document that may be advisable for a situation like this.
