Cheap Campsites in Denmark

Hi all,

I'm thinking of a very quick trip over the channel and ride up to Denmark on an exceptionally tight budget. Possibly not the cheapest place to go on a tight budget but who cares about that.

Of course I'll be camping and doing all my own food etc so really, the biggest cost is accomodation.

Internet searches for camping tend to give me waterparks, playgrounds etc, but I did start reading about free campgrounds. However they looked very much for walkers and cyclists etc as most appear to be a bit of a farmers field.

Does anyone have any experience of this type of camping in Denmark? Are there other options where a motorcycle would be tolerated?

Also, does anyone know of a cheap campsite around Arnhem, The Netherlands?

Cheers

Dave

In designated sports it's allowed to camp wild ... there is a website about it somewhere.

I do no longer live in Denmark, but there are massive problems with theft there. I don't know where it's best to stay (to be safe), but there are gangs coming from some of the former east-block countries which do have long fingers. Strangely enough I never had problems going to these countries....
