Water pump

I was about to buy another Shurflo diaphragm pump for my Defender to pump water up from my rear wing tank into a filter systems.
But thought I'd check to see if there was anything better available?

Any suggestions please?

After dealing with a crappy Chinese brand water pump I was happy to have a Shurflo.
In the past I had Flojet, but Shurflo seems to do the job just as well for less money.

Using it with British Berkerfield filter house and candles.

Hi yak
I am now living in spain and i go to maroc to get my kicks.i find that buying a few 5l bottles of water in the nearest souk and giving the emptied flagons to the ladies waiting for them is good enough for the usual desert trip.it keeps me from other things that may go wrong and helps the local people

Ah yes, the good old keep it simple method.

But if your not roaming around the desert I still love a water pump with filter, because in many occasions we were able to fill the water tank, with water from a nice natural source.
It not only means "free" water, but very convenient to be able to fill up a large amount at many places. (with a family it would mean lots of 5 liter bottles, and a shame to use it for washing and dishwashing)
