Listen up Ortlieb!
I just spotted these and got all excited until I realised they were 35L in total. What use is that on the road?

Roll-top (no zips) is the way to go. We need the same shape, ie: 'no pillion' long and shallow - so much easier to get to everything - but 25 or even 30L each side. Include the nifty Q/D clip-on feature of the Ort QL2s but up to 18mm. The pushbike clip-on pans cater for variable rack Ø, after all.
Add a self-draining PET water or oil bottle pocket holder or two on the outside and that would be a great, all-purpose AM pannier, IMO.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
