Hi
now we are getting closer, the preparations are in the final stage ...
Still, we haven`t sorted the tyres which we want to change in Turkey before taking the ferry from Mersin to Port Said ...
How much is the TKC 80 ?
Any other tyre brand in that size available ?
and btw., lots of travellers like and want the
HEIDENAU K60 Scout
MITAS E 07
MEFO Explorer
they are very good for long distance traveller/overlander .... maybe you should contact the factorys and see if they want to make buisness in Turkey ...
beeing the first dealership in a country is always good, right ?
best regards and thanks
Thomas

Bora
We purchased tyres from Bora when we were in Turkey and I couldnt have asked for better service or price. He is a lovely bloke who really looks after people. Hopefully I will catch up with him in the not too distant future.

Today I have spent a few hours in Bora's good company...not only did he sort me out on a difficult to get tyre for Batty...A Royal Enfield, he also arranged it to be fitter (very well and reasonably). Then his colleagues (whose name I have forgotten alas), without prompting started washing her and had her gleaming in no time...it was service with a very big smile.
Safe and honest hands for anyone needing tyres etc in Turkey.

Tyres in Turkey
Anyone know where we can find two sets of Pirelli Scorpion MT90s for KTM 990 Adventures in Turkey?
Size 150/70 - 18 rear 90/90/21 front
Also, looking for Touratec hand guards for bike.
All the best

Hi Bora,
Do you have Heidenau tires available at the moment (R1200GS)?
Any possibility to get Heidenau tires?
I tried to send you an email, but did not get an answer.
Br,
Marko

Bora NOT in the business anymore --> Alternative contact
Hi all,
I just talked to Bora, unfortunately nowadays he left the motorcycle tyre business.
He recommanded me to another contact for motorcycle tyres:
Karayol Motosiklet Lastikleri · Sayfa · Motosiklet Bayisi · Cumhuriyet Mahallesi, 664. Sokak, No:2, Antalya, Turkey · +90 242 345 52 67 · info@karayollastik.com.
I have no personal experience with them, yet. Just wanted to leave the info.
BR to all
