Like I mentioned, mileage is the most important characteristic for me as I expect to do about 15000 kms on this tour.
I have experience with Mitas E07 and Heidenau K60 Scout which both lasted 12000 kms on my bike and I hope the Conti TKC 70 will be in the same range.
I don't know about the Anlas CapraX as it doesn't seem to be widely used.

I'll write you a PN about the details.

Izmir is big big city so I think i have seen about 1% . It's nice and the sunset over the sea is awesome but a little bit pricy because of the touristic area.
I met Vangelis last night in Gorem

My route will be taking me past your place late May next month so I will be calling in to have my tyres checked and replacements if needed and a coffee of course,
Have you had any experience with mouses as I will be running them for Russia, I'll be on a red Xt 600 34L
I'll log your address in my navigation unit
Thanks
Graham

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
