Any suggestions on teh best brand powerbanks?

Howzit good people of HU.
Time back we got a small Sena powerbank that could be used to power a headset while riding. It was a gift and in double time it started to do duty for phones and cameras.
it is such a damn helpful little thing but it got to it's end and I am looking to replace it.

But which brand powerbanks are really kick ass stuff to use? Not too big and bulky and maybe around 8000-16000mah. We store it in our tankbag.

Hey, yeah I second Anker, had many products from them (they are big on Amazon).

Another option is to get a power bank/jump starter combo. Its a power bank that has some small jump leads that plug in and can jump start a bike multiple times or a small car.

yep, we've had a couple of el cheapo chinese ones from ebay which have failed, and have now switched to Anker, along with Anker cables. So much better. The quality difference is noticeable.

microstart XP-3 from Anti gravity

Pretty handy, starts big trucks, bikes ... plus will run GPS and other devices for days. Comes with lots of various cables to adapt to just about anything. Including big Clip on connectors for hook up direct to battery.

I've charged my Phone several times. The Anti Gravity recharges in half an hour. I've not run it dead yet, was over half way discharged, came back to 100% very quickly.

Real question on ALL these new Li-iron batt packs is ... HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST? 1 YEAR? 3 YEARS? 10 YEARS?

Still too new to know for sure.

I have the same. Got it really cheap when they were being closed out. The first time I used it was at Deadhorse, Prudhoe Bay Alaska. MY Husky FE501 came with a lithium battery that couldn't spin the motor fast enough to start it when it's cold (30 F). The Microstart works great.

Yes, another advocate of the Antigravity XP-3 (or 1 or Micro - depending on what's available) - they are all small enough to fit in a tank bag, but have enough grunt to start your bike (or someone else's) as well as keep all your electronics topped up.

The other thing I'd do is wire up a dual USB socket in the cockpit area somewhere - keeps your phone/camera/GPS charged while you're riding:

Just to add, I started my dead GS12 with my XP10 with ridiculous ease and it's small enough to carry on your person or more sensible in a tankbag, great product.

One point I like about my XP-3 is that it fits in my shirt pocket. This makes it easy to keep warm when needed. They do have amazing power in convenient size.

I got the Minibatt Pro VR.
20000Mah, maybe a bit much but as I take my laptop on the way too, and I plan to camp a lot, I like to be able to charge all my devices.

This one can charge literally anything and can also jumpstart my motorcycle's battery if needed.
