Anyone used www.louis.de???

Been looking for gear and found Louis.de..... Great prices and gear not found elsewhere.
But, has anyone bought from them before?

Saw a report on fc-moto.de and a lot of bad PR. Seems that their after-sales service is non-existent... Darn it. Will hope that Louis is better?!?!

Can't comment about Louis, but fc-moto.de customer service indeed sucks. Ordered a helmet from them that was defective, returned it (at my cost for shipping because their response was basically "not our fault") to be exchanged for a new one, and they sent me back the exact same defective helmet instead of a new one. But after many e-mails (they ignored me most of the time), they agreed to refund me... but never did.

Living in Munich I often visit their shop. No complaints up to now. Then there's another bike shop, equally good: http://www.polo-motorrad.com/en/?___from_store=de

Same here......

I've ordered from them, or driven to their nearest shop in Austria, plenty of times in the past ten years or so, and never had any problems at all. I've no idea what to say about their after sales service, since I've never had any need of it.

The quality of their own brand stuff general seems to have generally gone up a lot over the year. I get the impression that they seem to be pretty much similar to POLO.de, and not quite as good as Hein-Gericke.

Thanks all!

Will go ahead and use them. Unlike fc-moto, all your comments have been good.

Great jacket from Louis....

Not found anywhere else!
Great leather, heavy-duty but supple and with semi-soft armour. Looks good too!

Checked and they have an amazing return policy!

Louis and Polo are o.k. for all stuff around the motorbike, but if you need camping-equipment, there are better stores in germany, for exampel: globetrotter.de

Thumbs up

We use Louis a lot for Bike Parts and gear, always very helpfull stuff there. 100% recommended!

Globetrotter is indeet a good shop, but you have to be aware that they are a farmacy, higher prices you can´t find anywhere else. Here in Hamburg is the main central and you can find anything you like (and wheni say ANYTHING I mean it). Super good advicea and service but it comes for a price.

Bought quite a bit from Louis, it's better quality and a lot cheaper than anything I can get in France. Mostly clothing and all good stuff, quick delivery. The one time I had an issue with a faulty well known branded product I had worn a few times, they refunded the total purchase price immediately , no questions. Can't complain about their service.
