Ditch the black plastic cap on the final drive breather, hoseclamp/jubilee clip a long length of stout hose to it (12mm internal diameter?) & route it up past the top shock mount so that it exits somewhere near the battery. Cable tie it to the frame, up to you if you fit a small filter to the hose end.
Fuel injection hose from a car accessory shop is ideal.
I assume that water gets in to the gearbox via the speedo drive? I think Grant's posted on this before?
Water enters the engine itself via the airbox snorkel, airbox & then the carbs.
