MOTO FOR TRAVELERS/FOREIGNERS: the moto is from Mexico with Mexican plates. You will be able to go anywhere with a Carta Poder & apostille document, internationally recognized.

!! Please Note !! On the day that you buy and drive off with the moto, you will have 25 days before the moto needs to exit Peru. That's the remaining time on my frozen TIP (Temporary Importation Permit). You can immediately come back after if you want a new 3-month TIP.

0 reparation to plan for, everything in top shape

More photos of everything on my Facebook market ad:

PS: the exhaust is wrapped up in the pictures only to protect my saddle bags from melting from the heat. Nothing is wrong with the exhaust and you can easily remove the protection.

I'm selling a black & white dual-purpose Italika DM250X:
- Mileage 12,551 km/ 7,800 miles
- used a few months only, no accident/crash, no rust
- Motor 4-stroke, single cylinder
- 250cc
- transmission 5-speed standard/chain
- Fuel efficiency: 25.5km/L, 280.5km per tank (11L)
- Disc brakes
- great suspension: Inverted telescopic fork, Mono Shock swingarm
- Digital screen
- USB charging port, you can charge your phone/gps
- The moto frame locks so nobody can roll away with it
- Moto very easy to fix and find cheap parts. I have the original motorbike manual also to help mecanics.

New parts upgrades:
- New tires high quality: 120/80x18 Sahara Rp and 90/90x21 Tour Rp (paid 190 USD/ 690 sol)
- New extra thick inner tubes to avoid punctures
- New high quality chain
- Services and oil changes always on time

I'm selling because I finished my travel driving from Mexico to Peru and I'm flying back home to Canada soon. My Youtube channel and Insta: @JoGeekOnTheRoad

This motorbike is matriculated from Mexico, so I will do a legalized Carta Poder with a notary and apostille by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is internationally recognized and makes you the owner. You will get the original documents when picking up the moto in Lima. Easy and legal. The business where I’m storing my moto is a professional with much experience in Carta Poder, freezing and unfreezing TIPs, etc. He will coordinate all paperwork in Peru for this sale.

The Carta Poder is required for you to leave Peru, but if you want after that you can have your own Mexican plates and matriculation card to your own name. I have a contact in Mexico who can do it remotely and ship the plates, same guy who did my current plates. It is only mandatory though, you can go anywhere with the Carta Poder and resell the moto afterwards also.

The moto located 45min from Lima right now, in Chaclacayo if you want to see it.
A lot of gear I include for free like big saddle bags, tools to fix the moto, extra tubes and tubes repair kit, phone/gps holder.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
