For Sale Honda Africa Twin RD04 in Colombia now

FOR SALE IN CARTAGENA OR MEDELLIN

Hi Guys,
its a major pain to ship the bike back from Colombia so I am willing to sell it.
It has German License Plates so you will need to ride it on a Poder.
The Dian import Permit is good for another 6 Weeks.
I ask for 2850 Dollars non negotiable.

The bike is a Honda Africa Twin RD04 from 1991. Before the trip I put a new engine from the later model RD07 which now has 45k kilometers on it. the chassis now has 90k kilometers.

I rode from Chile up no worries on this bike. No need to say much its an africa twin.

Technically in perfect and well maintained shape
all bearings good
brakes good
engine gearbox clutch good. starts on an instant even cold and in high altitude
no oil leaks in the engine or suspension or anywhere else.

Negative aspects:
plenty of scratches and a bit of ducktape to keep the indicators in position
the panniers hat some cracks so i repaired them with another layer of aluminium
needs new rubber on the rear and.

Other parts and when they where changed:

-chain and sprockets 20k ago (DID made in Japan)
-Rear Brake pads 5k ago (From germany)
-fuel pump 10k ago (Original made in Japan)
-rectifier 25k ago (Original made in Japan)
-brake fluids, hi flo airfilter and oilfilter 10k ago

-luggage rack 20k ago

Comes with full set of spare parts:
-bearing set front wheel
-bearing set rear wheel
-bearing set steering
-tube front and rear
-brake pads for the front
-rectifier (used dunno the condition)

tools:
-everything you need, ratchet set and what you need to change the tubes
-full can of chain lube and chain cleaner

riding gear:
rukka goretex and cordura riding gear for another 150 dollar.
helmet for free

camping gear:
mckinley tent and sleeping mat 100 dollar
gas bottles for free

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
