Honda XRE300 Rally for sale in Punta Arenas, Chile

Unique opportunity!!

2017 Honda XRE300 Rally (Fuel Injected)
Available mid-late March: Punta Arenas

Price: $3,500. However, If you are interested in ending your trip in Huanuco, Peru (whenever), and deliver the moto to Around the Block Moto Adventures in good condition (ie they accept the moto for the buy-back/re-sale) I will refund you $3,000.

-I am the 3rd owner and have ridden this moto from Huanuco, Peru to Medellin, Colombia and down to Patagonia. It currently has ~53,000km, however, it was “made new” by ATBMA (new pistons, rings, gaskets etc) @ 33,800km (preventative maintenance, nothing was ever wrong. The bike is solid)

****This moto is great for shorties!!! The moto has custom welded lowering links, therefore the seat height can either be 80cm or 90cm.****

Peru plates, with exit papers allowing it to be outside of Peru until Dec 24, 2020. An extension on this date is potentially possible, but I am not positive.

Extras:
-Oxford Heated grips
-Welded/very strong side and rear racks
-lever protectors
-Tall windshield
-Handlebar risers
-lowering links
-Rebuilt exhaust into a free-flowing, fiberglass exhaust which adds power and better acceleration at altitude
-2x 30L dry bags (black and white) can easily be rigged into panniers
-spare air filter, tire levers, spark plug, various tools
-SOAT insurance for Peru until Dec 5, 2020
-Mercosur insurance through July 11, 2020

Maintenance:
-Engine “made new” (new pistons, piston rings, gaskets etc) @ 33,800km
-New Fork seals and fork oil @ 46,000km
-New front/rear sprockets & chain @ 45,000km
-New front and rear brake pads @ 44,800km
-New battery @ 37,415km
-Regular oil + oil filter changes every 3,000-3,500km with full synthetic
-air filter cleaned every 500km and changed every 6,000km (is metal+pleated paper, not sponge)
-New rear Pirelli MT90 tire at 53,000km, will need new front tire in Punta Arenas

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
