For Sale UK XT600e 2002 £2900 ono

This bike is fully set up for adventure travel with an Acerbis 22litre tank, rack and bag thrown in.
Recent (two weeks ago) full service, rebuild of the front forks (new springs) and rear end including new bearings, front and rear sprockets, X Ring chain, bare metal respray and rebuild of the swing arm and bottom bracket etc.
I rode this bike to Romania and the Aegean after buying it two years ago and it remained there during coronavirus as I was unable to bring it home again, it is now back, will have a new MOT.
It is faultless and anyone contemplating a bike for the TET, a world adventure or Green Lanes would get a great bike.
I change the oil & filters every 1000kms & anything that needs fixing has always been done promptly.
I bought it from a dealer with 4000 genuine miles on it so I’ve covered only 9500 in two years due to it being stored for 9 months in a garage.
All the accessories were professionally fitted and this is a very reliable piece of kit (anyone who knows these bikes will tell you that they are legendary for overland travel).
Delcevic Exhaust fitted (has a throaty note)
Can be delivered anywhere in the UK (to be discussed)
I will change the oil and all filters before delivery also.
Slight crack in the face of the rev counter since I had it (makes zero difference to the functions) that doesn’t let water in.
Less than usual wear & tear for a bike of this age and in awesome condition.
No joy riders, you will need to provide ID and show me the money before you get to sit on it.

His post is from 2021 !! I imagine it has sold a long time ago.

However, I have a similar bike for a similar price if you are interested.

2003 XT600E. 15,000 miles. Fully serviced in great condition. It doesn't have the large tank but mine is £300 cheaper. So you can buy a tank if you want.

£3,000 cheaper than £2,900? Sounds like you are giving away money.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
