V Strom for rent, Las Vegas area

I have a DL 1000 that I don't ride anymore because I have three other bikes. I hate to sell it because i'd like to have it for my next trip. Its adventure touring ready and equipped. It has Jesse luggage, Corbin seat, new chain and sprockets, new battery, nearly new tires, skid plate etc. Its never given me any problems. I've never rented out a bike of mine before so i'm not sure what the terms would be. Probably just a weekly or monthly rate with a deposit. Las Vegas and surrounding area is an awesome place for adventure touring, but I got a new BMW so i've gotten back into sport touring for now. If you're interested send me a message. I can post pics.

My name is Dan and live in Eugene OR and I'm interested in renting your bike. I own a 2005 Yamaha FJR (bought it new) and have a niece in New Mexico that my wife and I would like to visit. Although I would like to take my own bike the ride is just too long and somewhat problematic in winter/spring. Let me know what you think and we can work out the details. I'm thinking a week or so. Pictures would be nice if you have them

This is an old post but I'll reply anyway... do you still have the V? I'm a UK resident planning a 3-4 month USA trip coast to coast in summer 2010. How much per month and deposit? (Or sell and re-buy?).

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
