Africa Twin available for Kyrgyzstan to Portugal

Hi everyone! In 2015 I traveled from Portugal to Kyrgyzstan with my Africa Twin and left it there to come to China. I was only supposed to spend winter here but ended up staying and now I'm looking for someone to take the bike back to Lisbon, Portugal.

The bike is in Bishkek at a friends place and I also left a bunch of stuff together with the bike (GPS, equipment, tools, spares, cooking, etc). Almost all possible parts were rebuilt and it has a bunch of mods (WP front suspension, Ohlins back suspension, Facet pump, Mosfet, African Queens 45L tank, etc). It is also modified for touring as you would expect.

I've not thought through all the logistics of this but the key principles would be:
  • I would want a deposit equivalent to the value of the bike, refundable on return of the bike to my father in Lisbon.
  • I service/get the bike serviced on handover (my expense at start, yours at the end).
  • I will sort the legal/police documents so you can travel with the bike across borders.
If you're interested please send me an email so we can discuss it further. My email is joaofernandes33@gmail.com.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
