I guess if you've got a porta-potti to go with it, it'd be OK. If you want the lighter alternative then you can take a leaf out of Josie Dew's (the cyclist) book and use a poncho-loo. Just sling it over your head and squat. Admittedly you look a bit odd on a sunny day, but if you want to keep your performance to yourself, it works just fine.
