Shipments done by Travellers
The HU Shipping Database!
From THIS page, you can find details of shipments ALREADY MADE by travellers, both air and sea, so you can plan your own shipment.
For each shipment, the details include Shipping Date, Cost, Shipper Contact details and a Description of the experience, often including very detailed and extremely useful information about the requirements for crating or the paperwork involved at the destination location.
If you are aware of any more up-to-date information, or you know of any shipping details for locations which aren't listed below:
Please let us know here for minor details, or
Submit information on a shipment YOU HAVE ALREADY MADE here.
Thanks to all who have contributed this information, keep it coming!
NOTE: This is not our normal view, but Google's API has somehow broken the view with a map and everything nicely laid out. We will fix it as soon as possible, but it's a very big job for us. Any Google API experts feel free to contact us! For now this will have to do, sorry.
Usage: Enter one or more of the fields, as you wish. Blank field means "all". Be sure to use correct country names, e.g. "United Kingdom" not UK or England. Unfortunately "united states" (united states of america doesn't work) gets United Kingdom as well, just work down to the bottom or last page. Not case-sensitive. Results sorted by newest first.

Shipment: From Los Angeles, United States to Melbourne, Australia - July, 2012
Compton Long Beach, Sussana Rd
great service the 1200 dollars include the cost of bringing the bike in to Australia which is about 500 dollars. If you bring your own crate will save you 375 dollars. I got mine from a Honda dealer in Comton for free. Aluminium crate strong and not heavy. If you have one made at the dgx the cost is 375, and then you need to get it sterilised and that cost more money. The shiping time is 21 days and the boat leave every Sunday. I was allowed to put the bike in the crate by my self. You need a full day to get the shipping and custom clearance done. In Compton small hotel 65 us then honda shop in the morning get the crate bring it to dgx company one sussana rode 7 miles from Honda shop in Compton. Bring your gps or you will be lost for ever in Los Angeles

Getrouted shipped my bike( Harley-Davidson Electra-Glide)last year in Juli from Felixstowe to Melbourne. I toured around Australia 5 months, and they shipped my bike back to Barcelona,in Spain, I have to pick the bike up in Barcelona the end of March. You hand them your Carnet de Passage, when you delliver your bike in Felixstow(CLEAN). After 5 weeks on sea,the bike arrives
in Melbourne. You can follow the vessel by the internet. When you arrive in Melbourne, you contact Dave,he will let you know when you get your Carnet back(He also does the Customs Clearance),he let you know when the container is ready to unload. When it is unload, you go to the shipping company, conect your battery again, and you can ride your bike on Australian roads. When you get your bike to Felixstowe,it may stay 5 liters of fuel in the tank, only the battery must be disconected. The price is for a return shipment. For me it was Felixstowe-Melbourne and Sydney-Barcelona.

Shipment from Los Angeles to Melbourne by seafreight
No box required. Max. 25% gas inside the tank. We delivered the bike with panniers, helmets and luggage mounted.
Duration 6 weeks
Costs: USA 765 USD and Melbourne 800 USD
Everything was perfect and well organized. They organized the quarantine inspection and handed over the stamped Carnet de Passage to us. We would use these companies again. They do a lot of shipments for motorbikes and cars. The bike and all the luggage has to be spotlessly clean.
