Front sprocket

I have to change front and rear sprocket along with chain. Now the front is that reverse thread and how do you suggest to get it off thanks . It's a 90 x t 600e

cut the chain right off with an angle grinder,

snick the bike into first gear to prevent the sprocket rotating when you undo the nut (which is a normal right hand thread). Once it's off, sprocket usually slides right off. if stuck, then use plenty of penetrating oil

live the chain on, after taking the wheel off put the axle back on and lock the chain on it with screw or screwdriver, then you can easily undo the sprocket nut, same way when putting a new back on. Don't do it in gear.

Well how hard can it get, have a friend help you..Sit on bike pull the brakes and if brakes dont work move it against a wall. If you dont have any people or friends around sit on the bike yourself or pull brakes with strap, same shit with torque nut. Remember to check all the rollers and protection when its off!

Ya , loosen the nut 1st while you have the chain and tire on so you can hold the brake plus put in gear to hole everything . Once it's loose , then take the rest apart and slide sprocket off with no chain . Put some anti seize on the splines when installing the new one to help on wear reduction , not a huge problem with this style as opposed to the old with the sprockets left loose and just clipped or retaining plates to keep from coming off , but still nice to have some lube in them.


Hope you got DID chain with Sunstar or JT sprockets

I don't know yet what type of set up I purchased cause the Yamaha shop orders it up for me cause oe m was like 600 bucks for everything. I will let you know.

Don't order from a dealer on stuff like this . Oem would be DID chain and Sunstar sprockets . You can get all three items , maybe not as a "set" but each individually for around $130-$140 from places like RMATV , Denis Kirk , MotoSport , and about 20 other online stores .
