they are a cluster of leds with a stock bulb end and they are twice as bright ( at least) as a normal bulb, (more chance of being seen, less chance of being hit) and vibration on an RTW or off road trip doesnt knacker the filaments as the LED is pretty vibration proof. I hat them fitted to my XTZ750 Super tenere and even after a 100mph crash all the bulbs were fine! ( wish i could say the same for the bike and my pelvis!)
